The Doctoral School of Engineering and Science at Aalborg University welcomes you to the 2nd international Summer School.

Join us in week 34 (August 21-25) in Aalborg for a program consisting of state of the art PhD courses, excursion and networking with fellow PhD students.

The summer school will feature:

•  6 PhD courses with topics from 5 of our PhD programs and one course offered jointly between more programs, with a variety of skilled lecturers 
• A mix of workshops and lectures
• Excursion to a nearby historical castle and the choice between two different companies in Aalborg:
  • Asetek – World leader in liquid cooling of PC’s and developer of High end immersive Sim Racing equipment - read more on Asetek's website.
  • TBD
• Networking with fellow PhD students and senior academic staff from Aalborg University
• Guided city walk through Aalborg 

Pricing:

All participants have to pay for the catering which includes lunch all days, coffe/tea throughout the day, reception with high quality tapas and lunch to go on selected days - there are no extra fees for the excursion.s

• The price for catering is EUR 150. (must be paid by all participants)

Registration fee:

• Danish PhD students = DKK 0.
• Non-Danish PhD students is EUR 800.
• Other participants is EUR 1067.

Location:

The Summer School primarily takes place at the main Campus of Aalborg University and all catering is done at the new AAU Innovate Building
